FOOTBALL ACADEMY

A Football Academy operates in Anagennisis Facilities and its main goal is to give the opportunity to young children from Derynia and the broader area of Famagusta to learn the basics of the game, to train and play football, to improve skills, to learn about sportsmanship and fair play, to spend constructively their free time after school under close supervision of trained and qualified instructors.

There are different age groups within the Academy who has about 160 registered members.

The age groups are: 7-9, 10-12, and 13 -15 and Girls 10-15.

Training sessions are in the afternoons between 2pm and 5pm. The administrator of the Academy is Andreas Arnaoutis and Christodoulos Vartas (member of the Club's committee).

The Head Coach Michalis Stylianou is assisted by Stelios Stylianou, Costas Loizou and Lefteris Kamilaris.

The various groups apart from the daily training sessions give frequent friendly matches with other football academies and take part in various tournaments meeting other teams from Cyprus or abroad.

Children interested may apply to the administrator or the Head Coach and can be registered at any time of the year. Contact telephone 23 82 87 01.

There is a fee of Cyp £10 per month.
