The volleyball team playing in the 1st division of Cyprus of volleyball has played brilliantly with many very hard matches but found themselves in the bottom play offs and therefore had to fight its way through extra matches and on Friday 16th April in front of a full vooley hall, played the game of their lives and maneged in a very tight match to beat Pafiakos 3-2.

The local support, the screaming, cheering and appluase was incredible and TV broadcasters commented never had they seen such amazing support for Anagennisis Derynia Volleyball Team.

We congratulate our Volley Team, the trainers and the Volley Committee - CONGRATULATIONS !

The earth moving work for the new football training ground has started.

The Committee has been working closely with KOP and Derynia Municipality and other sponsors to get the funding to begin building a new training area rather than use the stadium grass.

When the training ground is finished it should save lots of wear and tear on the grass on the main staium and will be a huge benefit for Derynia.

Great News for the 1st Team of Football which finished 3rd in the league table and therefore qualify for promotion to the 2nd Division of the Cyprus Football League.

This wonderful news is not just about promotion but the future and stability of the club.

Adamos Adamou is the new coach at
Anagennisi Derynia Football Club

Adamos Adamou and his assistant Thomas Ryalas who took over the job of coaching the 1st football team on Wednesday night 9th December 2009

The Christmas Dance which we have this year at the Zapeon Palace in Derynia on 30/12/2009.

It features the famouse Greek singer ΝΙΚΟΣ ΚΟΥΡΚΟΥΛΙΣ and the ticket for the event includes food and drink but tickets are limited for the event so please call Demitris or Andreas for tickets.
