Trip to F.C. Most in Prague on the 9th of March 2007


Well we finally made the trip via plane and coach to this wonderful stadium in the north of Prague about 1 hour drive on the motorway.

We were most impressed when we reached the ground as it was a built up area with many large super stores nearby and they had a huge prctice pitch for the match which was being used by the local team. Then we looked up the hill and WOW what a HUGE GREAT stadium - if only in Derynia. Update February 2007 - Omonia Nicosia Match in Lymbia

 

On the January 31st 2007 - the Anagennisis Veterans Team played a friendly match in Lympia against the last years champions of Omonoia Nicosia and won 3-2.

2 Goals were scored by Ryalas Thomas and 1 by Tasos Mpeis.

After the game there was a dinner in a restaurant in Dali, it was excellent and we thank the veteran players of Omonoia Nicosia for their hospitality and invitation.

O ΜΑΔΑ ΠΑΛΑΙΜΑΧΩΝ ΠΟΔΟΣΦΑΙΡΙΣΤΩΝ ΑΝΑΓΕΝΝΗΣΗΣ ΔΕΡΥΝΕΙΑΣ

Η Ομάδα Παλαίμαχων Ποδοσφαιριστών Αναγέννησης Δερύνειας δημιουργήθηκε τον Σεπτέμβριο του 2005. Την ομάδα πλαισιώνουν παλαιοί ποδοσφαιριστές της Αναγέννησης οι οποίοι αγωνίστηκαν αργότερα και σε άλλες ομάδες της γύρω περιοχής. Οι προπονήσεις της Ομάδας Παλαιμάχων γίνονται κάθε Τρίτη στις 6.30 μμ στο στάδιο Αναγέννησης Δερύνειας. Πραγματοποιούνται επίσης φιλικοί αγώνες με Ομάδες Βετεράνων Ποδοσφαιριστών όπως επίσης και με άλλες διάφορες ομάδες.

Αξίζει να σημειωθεί ότι η Ομάδα Παλαιμάχων Αναγέννησης Δερύνειας κέρδισε σχεδόν όλα τα φιλικά παιχνίδια που έχει δώσει ενώ έχει φέρει μόνο μία ισοπαλία και γνώρισε την ήττα σε ένα μόνο αγώνα. Στον τελευταίο φιλικό αγώνα με αντίπαλο την Ομάδα παλαιμάχων ΜΕΑΠ Πέρα Χωρίου Νήσου οι δύο ομάδες εξήλθαν ισόπαλες 2-2. Οι παλαίμαχοι Δερύνειας ευχαριστούν θερμά τους Παλαίμαχους καθώς και το Διοικητικό Συμβούλιο της ΜΕΑΠ για την άψογη φιλοξενία και δεξίωση μετά το παιχνίδι.

Στόχος της Ομάδας Παλαιμάχων Αναγέννησης Δερύνειας είναι να διατηρηθεί αυτή η Ομάδα Παλαιμάχων στο άμεσο μέλλον και να δημιουργηθεί ένας θεσμός με απώτερο στόχο την εξάσκηση και σύσφιξη των σχέσεων μετάξι των Βετεράνων Ποδοσφαιριστών σε όλη την Κύπρο. Προγραμματίζεται ήδη ακόμα ένα ταξίδι στο εξωτερικό, φιλικοί αγώνες με ομάδες εκτός της επαρχίας Αμμοχώστου καθώς και χορός και δεξίωση.

Η ομάδα Παλαιμάχων Αναγέννησης Δερύνειας θα ήθελε να ευχαριστήσει θερμά το Διοικητικό Συμβούλιο της Αναγέννησης Δερύνειας για την πλήρης στήριξη και βοήθεια που της προσφέρει. Οι Βετεράνοι Ποδοσφαιριστές είναι και θα είναι πάντα στο πλευρό του Διοικητικού Συμβουλίου αλλά και της ομάδας της Αναγέννησης Δερύνειας η οποία τους ανέδειξε και με την οποία γεύτηκαν χαρές και τίτλους. Είναι επίσης πρόθυμοι να βοηθήσουν την Αναγέννηση οποιανδήποτε στιγμή τους ζητηθεί.

UPDATE - DECEMBER 2006 - ANAGENNISI DERYNIAS VETERANS FOOTBALL TEAM

The Veterans of Deryneia played away on the 13th of December 2006 against MEAP Pera Choriou Nisou.

The score 2-2, both goals scored by the leading scorer of the team Tasos Kafetzis (No 11 photo 1). The committee of the Deryneia Veterans Team would like to thank the MEAP Veterans and the members of the committee for the excellent hospitality and the nice reception and dinner after the game. Deryneia Veterans are planning to play against other veteran teams away this year. Our aim is to create good relations between veteran teams all around Cyprus .

There will be another trip abroad this year, as well as a ball or a reception party in a hotel or a restaurant of the Famagusta area. We wish you a Happy New Year.

The Anagennisis Veterans Football Team travelled to Sofia in Bulgaria and then travelled to the town of Vratza where we played a wonderful game against Botev Vratza on the 6th June 06.

It was a very nice trip, very well organised but we had unfortunately lost 2-1 against the Veterans Team of Vratza.

17 Veterans of Anagennisis got to Vratza and we had a great time and have wonderful memories some of which you can see in the photographs below.

The members of the Municipality of Vratza organised a nice dinner party in the municipality hall after the game. There were about 200 spectators in the stadion and even a local TV channel came there.

We send them our sincere and friendly wishes for 2007!

The Veterans met for their first time on the 19th of September 2005. It was my own initiative in agreement with the members of the council. We train once a week, most of the times on Mondays at 18:30 at the Anagennisis Stadium. We are about 25 veterans, most of us were former Anagennisis footballers. There are only few veterans who used to play for other teams in their past. Their date of birth is between 1952-1973. We trained 14 times in 2005, we gave 4 friendly games and had 10 trainings. We won 3 friendly games and we had one draw. The first game was against Sotira, we win 2-1, the second against the second team of Anagennisis 2-2, the third against Ayia Napa, we won 5-0 and the last one against Ayia Napa we won 6-4. As you can see we are still unbeatable!!!!!

The veterans have to pay 20 pounds subscription. We have our trainer and 3 representatives who are responsible for organizing the games. We are all football fanatics and we have fun and enjoy the training. We are going to have our new uniform in 2006 and training suit. There will be more games with other veteran teams of the region and we may go abroad for a friendly game.
